I put down roots in Berkeley when I came for graduate school in 1964 and still live at the same address. After teaching high school and college, I started a consulting firm and worked with law firms on diversity and human relations issues for 20 years, retiring 3 years ago.

My husband Greg and I enjoy our wide ex-tended family, including Ed Schmookler (former classmate and ex-husband) and his wife Barbara who live nearby. We spend lots of time together with our shared kids and grandkids. I volunteer at the East Oakland High School where our son Ben is principal and we also travel frequently, often in our motorhome, camping in the mountains, desert and at the ocean.

I feel I've been extraordinarily blessed in life and am particularly grateful for these years during which I can spend more time with friends and family, including my brother Bob, also a Ramsey graduate, who after years of living abroad has settled in San Francisco with his wife and is teaching at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.

During the final years my parents were alive and living in Roseville, I visited Minnesota very frequently, but since my mother's death several years ago, I've not returned. I'm much looking forward to our reunion and to reconnecting.
